TROOPER ADOPTED!
Trooper is a very insecure boy who needs some confidence building. Trooper is shy in new circumstances, he met chickens and was fearful of them….which I haven’t seen with a husky. He wants to be with people and is affectionate. He was introduced to an intact male lab mix, and that dog never relaxed or showed interest in playing. The two began to stare, and both became very frustrated, and their interaction needed to end. He was celebrated for his handling, allowed to be touched on all paws, and when doing the food portion of the evaluation, he was afraid of the hand. Trooper seems just to want to be with his person either on the couch or out on a trail hiking and exploring.
Trooper is an excellent one-person dog, for an individual who needs a firm and robust companion with time and love, with lots of patience. It will take approximately two to three months, at least for this husky, to start to adjust and bond with you.
